Can I just patch my roof instead of replacing it?
Sometimes, yes. If the damage is in one spot and the rest of the roof is sound, a repair is the smart call and we’ll tell you that. But once rust is widespread, fixings are failing or you’ve had more than one leak, patching is just paying to chase the next problem. Money spent repairing a roof at the end of its life is money you don’t get back when it needs replacing anyway.
How long can I leave a leak before it causes damage?
Not as long as most people think. Water usually gets into insulation, ceilings and the timber purlins well before you see a stain inside. Every wet week adds to the chance of rot, mould and a bigger repair bill. If you’ve spotted a leak, get it looked at sooner rather than later. Our inspection is free and comes with photos, so you’ll know exactly what’s going on up there.
Do you offer finance?
Yes. Up to 36 months interest free through Q Mastercard, and you can combine cash and finance however suits you. Apply online and you’ll usually have a decision within 2 working days. Lending criteria, a $55 establishment fee and T&Cs apply. Minimum payments of 3% monthly or $10. Standard rate of 28.95% p.a. applies after the interest free period.
Will the price change once you start?
We inspect the roof, drainage and access before we price anything, so your written quote is based on your actual home, not a guess. If we find something unexpected once the old roof is off, we show you and agree it with you before any extra work goes ahead.
What warranty do I get?
Every roof we install comes with a 10-year workmanship guarantee, plus the manufacturer’s material warranty. We’re Colorsteel Approved Installers and Licensed Building Practitioners, with 950+ roofing projects completed across Auckland since 2014.
How long does a roof replacement take, and where do you work?
Most re-roofs are done in 2 to 5 days depending on size and complexity, and we confirm the timeframe in your quote. We cover Auckland and surrounding regions.
